After a long wet winter it is such a delight to be out walking in the fresh spring air.
In the foreground is a field of oilseed rape (canola) and Chichester harbour glints in the distance.
From here it is uphill for a while.
Then it dips down into the valley below.
Time for a breather.
The views make it worth the effort.
After a rest it’s uphill again.
It’s only two weeks now before I board a flight to Bordeaux. After yesterday’s training my right knee and left calf complained a little but it feels ok this morning. Perhaps I’ll go for a walk on more level ground today.
